This 23-year old girl has done wonders! Perala Manasa from Telangana has launched OPods or micro houses built of sewerage pipes at low cost.
OPods primarily aims at the poor population. Made of a concrete sewage pipe, the OPod has a diameter of 2000 mm with up to 120 sq ft area. It comes equipped with one bedroom, kitchen, hall, washroom, and shelves. The low-cost house also comes with electricity, water, a drainage system and even a balcony-like lounge area over the tube.
